Johnston Carmichael is Scotland's largest independent firm of chartered accountants and business advisers. With over 420 staff based in ten offices, spanning the whole of Scotland, we offer plenty of room for personal growth and development. Johnston Carmichael is a fast-paced organisation combining over 75 years of experience and expertise with a wealth of fresh talent. Since 2007 Johnston Carmichael has brought on eleven new partners creating a team of 45 partners. 

Our firm boasts a dedicated Learning and Development department, who oversee the needs of every single member of our staff. Training is of the utmost importance and Johnston Carmichael strive to over deliver in this area. Presently there are no fewer than 109 people currently working towards a recognised industry qualification.

Johnston Carmichael is an Accredited Employer for CPD for AAT, ACCA and ICAS and we are one of only 20 firms in the UK who have ACCA Platinum status for the training and development of students. 

We are also proud to have been Scotland's first independent CA firm to be accredited Investors in People.
